Thornton Realty is a real estate firm specializing in larger land tracts in the greater Asheville area -- up to about a 1.5-hour radius from downtown. Thornton Realty is located in Fairview, North Carolina and can be found on the web at www.landtracts.net.

• Leslee Thornton is the principle broker and owner of Thornton Realty and has lived in the Asheville area for over 20 years. Whether it's researching a deed in the county courthouse or locating a corner on the backside of a piece of property, Leslee can assist you with every step of your land transaction.

• She maintains a working network with other land professionals such as lenders, foresters, surveyors, attorneys, appraisers - and invests in timberland and residential properties, as well.

For each parcel of land and acreage in my inventory, appropriate marketing materials are developed to assist the buyers in making a purchase.

Leslee Thornton is also a member of the Realtors Land Institute (RLI), which is the only real estate organization dedicated to serving real estate professionals who broker, lease, sell, develop and manage land. The RLI is an affiliate of the National Association of Realtors and was founded in 1944 with the mission to improve the professional competency of its members in land brokerage.
